Clerestory : The fenestrated part of a building that rises above the roofs of the other parts.; Upper elements of a Romanesque or Gothic church, bringing light into the center of the building from side windows pierced through stone. Oriel : A box-like window projecting from the wall of a house. Rib Band : A board set into the inside face of the stud to support a second floor joist.
